Mustafa Ali KhanHashmat Hussain Khan - Khan was born in Bamanwas, Jaipur in India on 18th December, 1939. He migrated to Pakistan after partition of India and Pakistan.

He completed his Bachelor of Science in 1964 and received a diploma in Sugar Technology from Jamaica, West Indies in 1970. He acquired a teaching position and taught for one and half year. He later joined Ordnance Factory for two and half years. His worked at Sugar Industry for more than forty years, from 1968 to 2008 as Executive Director. Now he provides consultancy and advisory services to Sugar Industry in Pakistan.

Hashmat Hussain Khan is an active member of various associations. For more than 35 years, Khan has serves in Pakistan Kaim Khan Education Trust (PKKET). He has served as a President of the PKKET for three years and presently he sits as a member of supreme council. Other than that he is an active member of Pakistan Red Crescent Society (National Branch of International Red Cross), Pakistan and has served as an Honorary Treasurer of Sindh Provincial Branch for three years. He is a life member of Pakistan Society of Sugar Technologists. Khan also has a life membership of Anjuman-e-Ahbab-e-Jaipur, Karachi. As well, he is a Senior Vice Chairman of Kaim Khani Welfare Association, Karachi.

He has edited and published history of Qaimkhani book in Urdu language, “Tareekh: Waqaiat Qaum Qaimkhani”, written by his late father Liaqat Hussain Khan and Molvi Atta Mohammad Khan.
